Goldtrowel - Anyone used them before?
Wondering if anyone has been trained by Goldtrowel? I was considering doing one of their 10 day courses but wanted to know what they are like first before I commit to anything.
Any info appreciated, I did a search on here but didn't see anything.
Thanks

They mainly do plastering courses I think mate. Where about are you based? I'd go look at 3 training centre's and then choose the one that feels right then. Try to speak to somebody who's been on each of the courses.

Re: Goldtrowel - Anyone used them before?
Ok I have been checking some courses out online, but there's so much to choose from.
As I explained in a previous thread I'm looking to use tiling alongside my plumbing. I feel it would be useful to be able to do someone's bathroom if they want it doing along with the plumbing work. I don't want to cowboy the job I want to do a good job that the customer is happy with.

In that case mate, my advice would be to spend some of your spare time on here, get stuck in and ask some questions. I really do believe that you would learn more on here then on any course. The more you use this site, the more you will get out of it. And also you can ask specific questions to the problems that you are facing as no 2 jobs are ever the same.

Nice one thanks. I have done literally no tiling before so I think maybe a course would benefit me even just to give me a heads up.

Re: Goldtrowel - Anyone used them before?
I did Goldtrowel plastering course years ago and they were fantastic. Not sure about the tiling course but if it is anything like the plastering course then it will be well worth investigating further
