Discuss Help in the Tiling Forum at TilersForums; been to look at a job last night its a corner shower and not been sealed right or tanked out tiles just falling off plasterboard is no good all needs ...

    been to look at a job last night its a corner shower and not been sealed right or tanked out tiles just falling off plasterboard is no good all needs to come out. the thing is i am getting stupid qoutes to take the shower pan out and the shower unit. how do i take it out myself i have no clue and my plumbing course dont start till march

    Do you need to remove the tray to re-tile the walls?

    yes also need to replace plaster board get water dam then water proof replace shower tray then retile walls

    removing an exisiting tray and shower shouldnt be too much to be honest its bread and butter job

    why not go onto the plumbers forum and explain you are a local tiler and you would like a quote from alocal plumber for the work

    what are you being priced for the plumbing work leeds?
