Advice needed! What does a line through the side of a tile mean?
Hello,
I've found a supplier who has offered to supply a lovely porcelain tile for what looks like a great price. However, in the sample tile I have noticed that there is a line running through the side of the tile, as if the top porcelain layer is "stuck" onto another different layer of stone. Does anyone know if this is normal? Or is this a "fake" porcelain tile?!
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Sara

As above, there is nothing wrong with these tiles from what we can see. This is just a way that some tiles are manufactured.
