I'm sure if the tiler is quick he can press the tiles into the wet plaster and save money on addy!

I am just browsing-over from electricians forum, what sort of time should be left before tiling a newly plastered wall and what sort of preperation would be needed.

No one told me this!

New plaster should be 3 weeks old and the preparation normally includes taking it all off and starting again

And there was me sitting patiently for my screed to dry. I would have thought it obvious even to someone not in the profession that plaster takes longer than a weekend to dry.

to be fair,if its drylined,it would be dry in a day or two,if the heating is on,but if its in the house im just doing at the mo,which we have wet plastered,the walls are still wet i did 2 weeks ago
