youll more than likely get hourly pay of 9-12 pounds, theyll tax you at source, will take you a few weeks to get money, too much paperwork, and really rubbish jobs. Dont know of any agencies in scotland though

Try going around all the bathroom and kitchen showrooms you can, pester them and you might get some work. Do you have a portfolio of your work, customer recommendations? Tile suppliers tend to stick with the tilers they have on their books and it's difficult to get your toe in the door.

Wouldnt let the scummy agencys make money of my back mate, as Bristol mentioned nothing but hassle.

Good advice from Kendo, best go down that route

I signed up with some of the major agencies a few years ago and got work off them, never had to wait weeks for payement,if you need the work I would advise signing up and getting on there databases.

I haven't Worked for them for a couple of years now but they still text and phone me offering me work,it's better than nowt.

The only downside is they usually tell you they have a couple of week lined up and you will find it's probably only a couple of days lol.

You will need your cscs card, utr and all that to register.

With some agencies down this way they pay you but the tax etc is done by another company where there is a separate charge..
