Default whats the best way to remove trim

    hi all
i had a job today where i had to put another row of tiles on top of a shower stall . i had to cut the trim off the top as i thought it would look crap if i left it.
i used a diamond blade in the mini grinder to do most of it but there was an electrical conduit in the way (i know it shouldnt be there but thats sparkys for ya)
i had to cut it with my stanley knife and use a chisel ( one of my good ones) to get at the bits behind the conduit. tha adhesive is very hard on the edge .

i have a multimaster but dont want to wreck those blades.

any advice .what way would you do it

    thanks alan

the whole of the trim along flush with the top of the tile . leaving the part under the tile. it the conduit with the clip on front and sticks to the wall. it is 30mm wide so getting in behind was a pain

Run a stanley blade where it wants removing..I have a fein but it's 110v and means dragging the transformer about as well..

I would do as the rest, use a stanley the 'conduit' you mention sounds more like plastic trunking, I would remove this and chase the cable /s into the wall, assuming that your going to be tiling over the top of it, it will be a much better finish than tiling up to it.

yes trunking thats what i meant.
it comes down from the ceiling to the shower. if it was my house id chase it in but they dont want that as the tiles would all have to be replaced. i had to add another row for the shower doors.
