Only use bath seals when I have to! Otherwise normally silicone.

silicone, always. a heavyweight customer, + water will cause the bath to drop (even a battened bath) and once that happens water will seep under the bath seal, silicone is flexible. of course you could always get the customer to sit in the bath, with water, whilst you tile, but personally i like a clear area when i'm tiling.................
