Hey folks! Should i remove my kitchen backsplash and tile behind it or come up to meet it? I

Yep I always tile behind oven hoods. Also just as a side-point I always have light pelmets and cornice removed off units, do the tiling and then have the said pelmets and cornice cut shorter to butt up to the tile. Looks far neater than a cut around.
