Plumber in need of help
Evening gentelmen I am a visitor from the plumbing forum after some advice
Am working on a extension that was supposed to have a shower cubicle in the ensuite but the customers have now decided thet want a wetroom and muggings has got lummbered with it, after reading the instructions supplied with the kit they"ve brought it supplies tanking liquid and shows it being applied to the walls but not floors i have corner pieces and tape just wondering should the floor be coated as well. Tryed parming it off to the builder but aint interseted so after some tips

Didnt write name off kit down sorry internet job, supplied a 900x900 pre shaped tray and the floor is 22mm green chipboard

Get a tiler in, save yourself a world of stress. If the customers have changed the spec then they will have to pay for it.

It really is mate, a bit of tiling here and there is fine but a wet room on a chipboard floor is a disaster waiting to happen. I have put right endless wet rooms, you really need to know what your doing.
Dont mean to patronize but i wouldn't have a clue about plumbing a house so I would call a plumber.

I dont wanna do it anyway, cut my shower valve in the wall thats all wanna do and second fix after. Silly question would u tank the floor with the tub stuff or do they make a mebrane for the floor?
