Discuss Small claims in the Tiling Forum at TilersForums; Hi,has anybody had to take a customer to the small claims due to none payment?Any help would be appreciated....

    Hi,has anybody had to take a customer to the small claims due to none payment?Any help would be appreciated.

    yes several times have found its a waste of time even if you win i still have never got the money and in two cases i have even had to pay them

    I havnt had to (thank god), is it that much of a pain in the neck?

    would be interested to here why you didn't get your money if you won the case, ive got a builder owing me at the momment, the final reminder was sent this week and im thinking about court action if he dosnt cough up..

    Not got solicitors involved ,problem is extra work I did to get the job done correctly I.e self levelling,fixing wpb to floors,the customer told me to go ahead and get the materials and that I would not be out of pocket, total cost to me with labour materials and comes to £1500
