Re: 130 year old slate flagstone floor
Ha ha! No the goat is actually our neighbours' goat - we borrowed it to 'mow' the grass on a visit last year... It seemed to take a shine to my partner who wasn't impressed... bless him!
This is the best photo I can find of the floor although the room itself has changed considerably since then. I've since lime plastered the walls and myself and my partner have now installed a proper ceiling so the room looks totally different. I did have some really good photos but we were attacked by a virus a few months ago and I lost everything on my hard drive...
I plastered the walls, and slated the roof, and made the windows... my father thinks I'm a great disappointment to him as he says I'm more like a 'navi' than a daughter.

I'd wait for Phil Hobson to give some advice - he most likely tiled it originally.
