Default self level lazer out by miles?

Afternoon all , ive a small problem with my self leveling lazer, it seems to be out of level by around 1 inch ? ive used the lazer to level a bathroom and double checked it with my fat max levels and the laser seems to be out by a mile ? can the lazer be corrected or is it time for a new one ? the lines off the fatmax levels were checked by turning the level round so the level is spot on, just the lazer seems to be out ? ive got a lazer templet with the lazer which i got off the spanish tiler and it doesnt tally up to the templet and i carnt see a way to tune up the lazer , so would like your advise cheers !

It needs calibrating, Not something you can do really. Try geo-FENNEL - We get to the heart of laser surveying.

is it vertical or horizontal it's off by?

If it's vertical are you pointing the laser dead on to the wall i.e. is the laser at a 90 degrees to the wall or are you firing the line at an angle? as this can throw vertical laser lines out if your wall is not 100% plumb

if its the one I gave you terry then there is a plastic plug on the side you can remove to adjust the pendulum counter weight (small grub screw inside the unit)

referance it to a line on the wall

if this fails you can use it as a point referance line with the vertical and horizontal lines on use the cross center

not worth repairing I would say
