Grout is not flexible enough, you need silicon.
Were you told of this before the install?
Have you left a consistent gap?

have you cut some & showed her what it would look like m8?

I would talk them into silicone or skirting.....

a colour match silicon would do the job better. why does she want it grouted? tell her the tiles may crack without an expansion joint

Don't let the customer call the shots.. You are the installer.
yeah iv left a consistent gap, she told me before install, ive been working on her! she its 83 square meteres running into a three toilets. it took some convincing to get her to have an expansion joint between the two buildings!ill have a chat to her today about colour match silicon

totally agree Dave! i had to laugh when i first suggested the expansion joint between rooms i said "you've got two options, i put an expansion joint in now or you pay me to come back and repair it and install one when the tiles come upand guess what she said " ill pay you to come back!
eventually got her to go for it, but she has had to pay me more anyway as job has taken longer cos cant get joint for another week supplier out of stock!
The customer is always right. If he wants, I install the tiles face down to. With one condition,"verba volant scripta manent".

you need to talk her round as you probably know timelee
this is your work and any future potential customers will be seeing it,if it looks badly finished its your name
all the best
hi
about 3 months ago i lay about 60sq meters of 60x60 polished porcelain but walk away when
it came to grouting...The customer ask to mix the grout (mapei ultracolor) to watery consictency
and pour this mixture into grout joints. In his opinion I was wasting his money by mixing it right.
Tried to talk him round, but he was sure he right so the only one option was to left...
try talk her first timelee77 hopefully you can put her back on right track
My word is worth more than money.
told her she will have to grout round egde cos im not, she has agreed to a coloured silicone nowthanks guys

Bloody customers! Would they tell a plumber not to make pipes water tight?
