    Default recessed shower alcove

    Hi Guys

I am currently building my bathroom and I would like to have a recessed alcove. The trouble is the only preformed alcove I can find is from a company in the USA and they will not send to the UK

I thought I would be able to make a similar mould myself out of fiberglass.

I will be using 15mm thick moleanos tiles, Webber adhesive and flexible ivory grout. Are there any issues you can think of that would cause

    Thanks in advance

    Dave

are you wanting to tile the preformed alcove? if so why? if you are worried about water ingress you could 'tank' the walls to make water tight prior to tiling

Thats what I thought But after taking out the old bathroom and the amount of damp behind the wall I just wanted a really waterproof recess. What would you recommend to tank it with?
