I have just finished a two hundred M2 job using 600x300mm ceramics from Johnsons, variation in tile size was very bad, 2mm from tile to tile, hard work. Trying to keep joint

As they are now made in the EU, do we know if they are manufactured in England.
I find the issue with these tiles is they sell them as a floor tile and really when you look at the wear rating they are suitable for areas of no shoe traffic ie bathroom floors.
The glaze quality and sizing are (and always have been IMO) very poor.

Tiled a bathroom floor today with johnstones City Ivory 445 x 445, about 10m2, some of the tiles were 2mm of a difference. the house builder we work for use a lot of johnstones tiles from CTD Glasgow, I complain about them everytime we have to lay any johnstones now, not great.
