Im going to start using square edge tile trim weres the best place to get them in west lothian or edinburgh?

Thats a long way out of my neck of the woods, Id have a look around your local supliers and look at prices. To be honest there isnt a lot of difference between the different makes so it will prob come down to price, availability and how close to home the shop is.

Yes i use Genesis trims most of the time and the square ones now and again.

Ah I see, I havnt used these but I do have a sample of them and like the look of them. Why dont you give Genesis a call and ask for a list of local suppliers?

I've just priced up some UFH matt and 6mm insulation boards on there, free next day delivery and about £150 cheaper than I can source it locally. I've already got the job based on the higher price so it's an extra £150 in my pocket. I'm all for supporting local business but I can't afford to with savings like that available online.

CTD maybe do them Paul. I tend to go to the CTD next to fountain bridge rather than travel all the way over past seafield.

ended up going with an l shaped one in the end

I often use the square edged chrome trims that homelux do.
The tile actually fits into the square so hides the cut edge of the tile.
Very neat.
In fact it allows the tile to go in to the trim by about 10mm so any over/under cut mitred edges can be fully pushed together without affecting the trim to tile.
They come in 2 sizes i think 8 and 12mm
There is only Topps i know that sell them.
Cannot understand why there not more popular
