Re: Reproduction victorian tile companys
You could try Original Style - who are a Devon based company, and give excellent service - send out free samples etc.
Web address
Original Style wall and floor tiles, natural stone, glass tiles, mosaics

Re: Reproduction victorian tile companys
My recent experiences with OS have not been very good. Although, up until now it's been fine.
I fix a lot of these floors (quite well too if I say so myself!) and aside from damages in transit three times in a row, I've noticed the 4" tiles getting very sizey depending on colour.
Also noticed some are very porous and drinking sealer. It seems they have shifted their production "abroad".
Hmmm.
I'm trying alternatives as we speak.

Re: Reproduction victorian tile companys
Yes it is original style tiles that I need, anyone know an online retailer? I need the black and white but coming in at £1.35 per tile (quite steep!) :-)

Re: Reproduction victorian tile companys
That's not overly expensive if the tiles are a good match to any existing.
All suppliers have different size tiles - metric and imperial - and can vary from 148mm to 152mm - so its worth getting a sample before you order a black or white tile!
If it's a new area to tile, you could have a look at Top Cer or the Lisbon Range.
