Smile Trying to match existing tiles

    Good afternoon,

I would appreciate your views an a tiling project in the bathroom of our house.

The original job was done some while back (1994?) but we are replacing the bath and shower and will need some matching floor tiles to the originals.

We have just 3 spares and they are designated 'Metropole' - a Spanish floor tile.

The dimensions are 33cm square and I have posted some photos of both sides of the tile.

    All advice is appreciated.

Hi I think that you will find it very difficult to get the same tile as it was produced back in 1994?and even if you do find some where with the same tiles they will more than likely be a different shade. I wish you luck though finding some tiles, hope you get it sorted. I would wait to see what other people from here have to say on the matter.

Thanks for the reply, gsh, I have managed to find the Spanish website .::METROPOL::. and I have emailed them.

I await their reply with interest. Thinking of time zones for Spain they should just be waking up from their siesta by now.

Very doubtful even they will have the same tile after all these years. Worth a try though.

Well let us know how you get on,hope its good news but like I said even if they do still manufacture them they will more than likely be a different shade/batch number so will be slightly different.
