Keep going Maxamus. Everyone has to start somewhere. Try doing jobs for friends and family first till you build up speed and confidence. Some tilers (whom I would be ashamed to call them a tiler) dont care what sort of job they turn out but I can see in your case that you obviously do care so keep at it mate. It will come good in the end if you follow the advice and support given on here!! Good luck!!

Remember a tiler who does not make mistakes has not worked. I challenge anyone on this site that has done more than a couple of jobs to honestly say that they have got everything right, including calculating area, setting out and so on. Maximus ask your self the question can the tile shop owner tile ?

dont worry, iv only been self enployed for about 6 months. iv had my hits and questioned if i made the right choice. then you get job where they love what you have done and you leave them feeling on top of the world. when i knew i was goint to go into tiling i affer my services to all my fam and friends tile for nothing but tell them there gineapigs. learn from mistakes!! you will be fine, all the best
