how would you tile this reveal?
i'm tiling a bathroom at the moment with 400 x 250mm ceramics in brick bond but the reveal is an awkward one. its around 600mm deep (front to back) old terrace house, the tiles on the sides will obviously follow the main walls but which way would you tile the sill and header? if you go left to right they'll match the main wall tiles but not the reveal wall tiles and vice versa, this is one i've not come across before. any suggestions?

Re: how would you tile this reveal?
Follow the tile from the front of the wall over onto the cill and header to make them look like a 250mm block

Re: how would you tile this reveal?
Left to right on your window head and cill as you said, it won't match the reveals nothing you can do about it.

As John above, just follow from bottom and top and fold over edge.

Re: how would you tile this reveal?
that's what i thought, no ideal solution. i've already tiled the bath panel which protrudes about 50mm and i've folded over the edge as if it were a block. customers not fussy about it, i just wanted the best possible finish. cheers everyone

Yeah just wrap round as everyone else has said, to keep the bond flowing.
Look forward to the pics Mike

Re: how would you tile this reveal?
Just to add though.. if the off cut was very small then i would switch the cill/head one to the next course.. so next bond.. looks better than slithers but also depends on the lay out.. we cannot see what you do.
