yeah was back there this morning, i had to take the border off carefully as there was no spare left. it would have cost me 20 quid for another mosaic sheet. the mistake i made was turning the top awkward tile the wrong way round when marking it. then i worked down. i even grouted and caulked them without noticing. an old boss used to tell me... everyone makes mistakes, as long as you rectify it

Been there! Once worked with an Aussie carpenter who told me that when he was doing his apprenticeship the boss felt he was ready for some real work. So he set him to putting the frame and legs on an expensive walnut table. He decided he really wanted to do it right so he spent ages measuring and them measuring again. Finally, after hours of work, he'd got it done. The boss came up and looked at it and said 'That's a really good piece of work. Only thing is, you've put them on the wrong side.'

Sometimes you get so bogged down in the detail you miss the big picture.

Very good Mike at least you fixed it

I cant work the next day even if its only a couple.

Once fixed a metal border back to front, it had dimples on one side an profiled on the other, nightmare to dig out and replace.
