Reading Material....
Although im registered as idjmark the forum still wont let me sign in - even tho i`m verified, so hey-ho I,ll stick it in here.
About to undertake a 2-week course and looking for some books/magazines/material recommendations to start reading and underpin a bit of knowledge before I start...total novice so anything on substrates / levelling compounds / adhesives / planning / laying / tools etc etc would be ideal.
Also, is there any hardcopy good magazine subscriptions i can subscribe to that has hints/tips/projects/new equipment etc..every other trade seems to have good magazines with decent content but cant find anything for tiling..have googled it but to no avail...all I can find is the tiling/stone journal but dont think thats what im looking for.
Any help appreciated,
regards,
Mark.

Re: Reading Material....
Thanks enduro. I enjoy a night time read at bed time lol. But your right - it really does have all the info / help needed ! Really cant wait to get started on the course and lay my first tile ! Is 2 weeks enought to be `competent` for diy purposes?...Hopefully follow it up with a further 2 weeks later in the year to improve a bit on skills then hopefully next year start working after ive completed all my own projects.

Can never stop learning mate, its like doing your driving lessons and passing your test. You dont really know anything until you get out there and have to get over problems by yourself. You have come to the right place tho, any questions you need answering, just ask
