    £10m landmark deal for Johnsons

Johnson Tiles has signed a five-year deal with Barratt Developments PLC to provide over £10million worth of tiles for 12,000 new homes across the UK.
The significant contract win means the firm will exclusively supply Barratt Homes, David Wilson Homes and Ward Homes with its own wall and floor tiles.
Johnson Tiles has also designed and developed a new and exclusive range of tiles for David Wilson Homes. Called 'Optimum' the products are of the highest quality and have been designed to appeal to the higher end of the market.
John Reddington, Managing Director of David Wilson Homes East Midlands, said: "Johnson Tiles is a solid British manufacturer that is environmentally aware and has an excellent range of products, particularly its high tech inkjet printed tiles which are revolutionary.
"The exclusive Optimum range compliments David Wilson's premium standards while offering our customers only the very best specification in their new homes."
Elsewhere, Johnson Tiles has won a two-year contract with Persimmon Homes, worth over £2million. This adds to its already extensive housebuilding portfolio with clients including Morris Homes, Bellway Homes, Bloor Homes, Taylor Wimpey and a number of small, regional developers throughout the UK.
Ian Crowther, Sales & Marketing Director at Johnson Tiles, said: "2011 is shaping up to be our biggest and best year to date. We now have the lion's share of the housebuilding industry and have become the first choice for UK housebuilders.
"How have we done it? You could say we have developed for the developer by listening to their needs and supplying the widest portfolio of wall and floor tiles with colours, designs and sizes that push the creative boundaries."
