    Default cutting a bevelled subway tile

    hi

    I have some wonderful white subway tiles with a wide bevel edge. when i cut them with a professional slide cutter the cut over the bevel veers off to the left. i would appreciate any guidance you guys can offer

    it sounds as though your cutter isn't callibrated square if I'm reading your post correctly.

    the tile cutter is similar to this one Home Depot - 20 in. Tile Cutter customer reviews - product reviews - read top consumer ratings

    I am scoring completely, umm, I think, as the wheel slips on the downward slope of the tile at the top of the line

    try scoring more than once if the score line is poor.

    If you read one of the reviews he states the cutting guide is not square.
