That's was damn decent of you and I hope the scones and tea were good. I don't like to hear of any customer potentially being ripped off........
On the other hand... She may have been sharp as a tack and got you to kindly do her tiling for free.....(;0)

It was the scone that sealed the deal..
The name Bates rings a bell, did'nt have shower curtains around the bath.

That entered my mind ....all the decorating, gardening,cleaning etc all done for free while she has tens of thousands under the mattress
