Glad you are well and the work is coming in. Bare plasterboard does not need priming and, as above, where did you hear that PVA should be used? I hope it wasn't from your course.

but it's a tiling question jason, why go to the plasterers???......but deffo not PVA, an acrylic primer on the exposed edges of the plasterboard though.

Trouble is plasterers use pva on skimming existing plastered walls, not on new plasterboard though, not suitible for tiling.

lol sorry miss read the question , acrylic bond , sbr bond, but you will be fine going streight on to plasterboard

Thanks for the replies - maybe my memory was the problem; it might have been new plaster walls and not plasterboards... but it doesn't matter now glad I can come here and ask 'noobie' questions!

even on plastered walls, pva is still a definite no no!!
