Default Gulf Stone black opal - cutting and fixing

Hi, new member and first time poster.

I am about to tile the walls of my shower in my home. I have bought the Gulf Stone black tiles from CTD 600mm x 300mm.

I have done a few tiling jobs in the past as part of my handyman business, but never used this type of tile.

    A few questions.

    1. What adhesive and grout would be best?
    2. What is the best way of cutting (straight) the tiles?
    3. How do I cut out a large oval hole for a shower valve/shroud?
    4. Normal tile drill for small screw holes (shower screen frame)?

Any other tips/ advise would be really appreciated.

    Hello and welcome..

Gulf stone is a resin composite and IMO should be fixed with something like Mapei Granirapid, Some resin based tiles do not like the water in a standard flexi adhesive mix.. so best to be safe and use a 2 part like above.
