raised border on shower room floor
I have a bathroom to do f to c and floor has an envelope drain in one corner 4ft by 4ft in mosaic , thats not the problem the customer had spent a few years in america and has brought back a listello,, border tile that has a raised centre which he would like installed in the floor around the perimeter of the envelope.. It could possibly throw the water back towards the drain,, but as it is raised above the floor tile could it be a disaster. Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

Re: raised border on shower room floor
Hello Paul, depending on the shape of it it might look well.
A possible trip hazzard too, you could always cut the height of it down through a wet saw?
I have adapted these type of things before to fit certain levels etc.

Re: raised border on shower room floor
fit the border tile where the customer likes it on the outside of this double tile it and this will bring the height up it will stop the water trap that the border tile creates and all the water will flow into the drain
