    Default Cracked grout

I had a phone call today to ask if i would go and look at a shower area in which the grout has started cracking. It was re tiled 2 years ago (not by me). This is my dilema, do i: A) agree to re-grout it but tell her that it may well happen again and to ring me if it does and we can discuss a solution B) Tell her it will be best to remove the tiles and re do it as im asuming she won't know if it was tanked and walk away if she won't pay for this?

    Any advice apreciated
    Thanks, Adam

I havn't had a look at it yet, i thought it was probably easier to go and have a look in the morning as its only up the road she only asked if i could put up a new screen and re-seal the tray to start with but asked if i could look at the grout while i was there

If the grout has cracked check what substrate is there, plasterboard could have had a hiding.

As above... work out why the grout is cracking, then go from there. I looked at a job at the start of the year With cracked grout and everything else looked perfect. It turned into a 10 grand re-fit.
