    Default Uneven wall

    Hi all
Just joined and must say I'm impressed with all the info on here. So my question shouldnt take much answering . I' tiling my kitchen wall and its pretty even until I come to the end (an external corner) and it drops away by 10-15mm in the space of say 300mm from the end . So was wondering what would be the best way to level it out ? Also I have found that round the electric sockets rise not by a great deal but just enough to some times not allow the tile to sit flat on wall , so any advice on that to would be a help . Thanks

if you can be bothered, knock it off back to the brick and replaster board, thatway itll be perfectly flat and plumb, prep is everything and in your own home if you mess up youll never forgive yourself lol,

you can use adhesive to build up 20mm.Although adhesive build up is not really condoned on this forum.Plastering the low spot with adhesive first will make it a bit easier to tile

I'd say build the low spot out with a rapid setting cement based adhesive first, let it set then tile onto that. Don't forget to prime the wall before you do this (not PVA). Welcome along to the forum.

As for your sockets, just chessel any high spots away, then do as Bri says, build up to correct level with cement (powdered) adhesive
