hi im new here but a old hand plasterer.
just got offerd too tile my mates bathroom.
the problem is he has got me B&Q white tile addy and grout mixed all in one.
    the tiles are 300mm/200mm/7mm
and i was given 2 mm spacers

i asked for bal white star and got the cheap stuff lol

now what i need to know is.
are the spacers ok and the addy never used it befor
its round a bath and shower

one wall is reskim with a mist coat of matt paint 50/50 mix
the side wall is D&D moisture resistant plaster board
glue and set with a mist coat theres two windows in one wall.
    bath is fitted

what i need to know is what size notch trowel too use on it and if i need a primer

take the adhesive back to B&Q and get some proper cement based flexible adhesive (bagged). reason look at the tub somewhere i sure it will say it is a D1 category, which is not suitable for wet areas.
The paint will have to come off, otherwise the tiles will sometime in the near future.
6mm notched trowel should do the job
