polished steel mosaic grout???
Hi. I wonder if anyone can help. I am due to tile kitchen splashbacks using polished metal tiles. After trying out some grout to decide which colour to use, The finish was spoiled by scratching. I am aware that mapei produce a super fine grout but only in white. I really want to use a pale grey. Anyone got advice on how to avoid this problem? Someone suggested that a product could be applied prior to grouting and the washed off after. Really not sure about this. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: polished steel mosaic grout???
A small amount of black cement color (and i mean small)will change white to grey.you will have to play around with it to get the shade you want. cant say if it will scratch tiles but the amount in the super fine will be very small.

Not a bad idea. I did consider it but i need to be careful to get the ratio right every time. You know how mosaics eat up the grout. not sure if I can do it all in one hit.

If you need to repeat the mix of colour, use medicine cups or spoons to measure the powder dye, and weigh the white grout very precisely, and mix and mix and mix....
