Shower glass cut to size
Hi All,
I'm doing some bathroom jobs over the next 2 months which both require custom sized glass.
Having spent the morning ringing around I'm pretty astounded in the difference in quotes I've been given...including one for 60 quid delivery!
Can anyone recommend a reliable, quality & cheap London based glazing company who have a decent turn around time?
Many thanks.
Stevo

Re: Shower glass cut to size
I couldn't recommend anybody personally but I'd keep calling around places. My family own glazing firms and their prices are different too to be honest. Not too sure what's factored in their pricing but they can vary from week to week it seems.

Re: Shower glass cut to size
Have you given them all the same spec? not just size. Some will be quoting for 10mm others 12mm, some for low ion glass, others not. If you asked for channeling some may quote stainless steel others aluminum.
If you give me the spec I can get a price for you, delivered to site

Re: Shower glass cut to size
Sadly these two words very rarely go together, which would you like? Quality or Cheap?

I normally use Daryl for bespoke screens. They're pricey but always spot on.....

Hi thanks for the replies.
Yes I gave all the same specs
Thickness 10mm toughened.
Width 450 mm Height 1800 mm.
Supplied with a polished stainless steel U channel of at least 15 mm depth and preferably 17.5 mm width to the wall.
Prices and recommendations welcome.
Delivery would be to SW13 in London.
Thanks again!

Re: Shower glass cut to size
Hi friends,
I was also wondering for the glass cut to size for the replacement of my double glazed windows and doors, but I was unable to find a perfect store. Then, one of my friends suggested me a store that provide high quality glass from 2 mm to 6 mm and up to exact specifications as desired by you. Then, I purchased 4mm thickness glass cut to size of my desired specification and really the glasses were easily fitted to my house windows and doors without any hassle as they provided the exact specification.
