Question Natural Stone Mosaic

Hi, hope someone can advise. I propose to use a natural stone mosaic border. (Laura Ashley Winston Mosaic, only 1.5" high) within a shower cubicle, the rest of the tiles are standard ceramic tiles.

Do I need to seal the stone mosaic with any thing or am I best not using them in the shower area?

Thanks for any advice offered.

Seal them with lithofin stainstop or similar before you fix them , easier than trying to seal them after there fitted...two coats will suffice......
