I used self levelling compound for the first time but obviolsy didn't use enough to fill a large dip in the floor. Can I build up the layers with more self levelling compound and if so do I need to treat the first layer before adding a second?

If not what advice can you give me?

    Kindest Regards &
    Thanks Guys
    Simon.

If you have large dips or hollows in a floor you need to treat these first rather than just covering the floor in one go. If not you are just raising the floor with the same profile. You should be able to fill any of these dips once the first coast has dried, check with the manufacturer regarding applying more bond prior to laying the SLC.
