    Default Fireplace Hearth

    Hi all,

My Brother has asked me to build & tile a fireplace hearth for him, this is something i have never done before. I will have no worries about the tiling its just the construction of the hearth am seeking advice on. I am aware all materials used will need to be non combustabile and certain building regs will dictate the dimentions of the thing!

    Any advice at all appreciated!!!

    Thanks
