A first for everything
Been tiling professionally now for around 5 years and what happened today was a first!!
After detailing the work required to the customer, I told them the price £???, she said ok, cash works for me (im nodding head!), lets round it up to £??? £50 extra!!! I eagerly agreed without really thinking, but now that im home, it just doesn't sit right with me (don't laugh). I think in some way I have not really done myself any favours here so I plan doing something to make this up to customer, dono what yet???

Recomendations go along way Charlie
Like the old saying you get for what you pay for and firmly believe it.
It takes years to get that type of recognition and well done

Top man!!
Just leave a small bouquet in a bucket when you've finished.
I've never had a "pre-tip" so I'd say that's deffo a first

Re: A first for everything
OMG!
I'm on a job putting right a mess created by another "tradesman" and my client approached me this morning to say that he appreciates that the job is more than I could have expected and therefore quoted for and would it be okay if he paid me an extra £300?
It must be the sudden change in the weather that is making everyone happy.....
