I banned em, just keep em in the bag now...mine must have been a couple of times, just picking the beggers up![]()

Knocked a new tub of 2 mm out of upstairs window onto monobloc driveway. It was the type with the gaps in it. Took the apprentice best part of a day to clear up......!

about 4 years ago, I let H and G play in the back of my van......all my tubs of 5,4,3,and 2's (5000 in each tub) were emptied out, does that count?
That's made me laugh.![]()

I remember that one Doug![]()

Keep mine in old flux tubs, I have loads for different spacers!
Last week I seemed to be constantly dropping adhesive in the spacer tub though, bad times!
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it!!

Oooo that's a git when that happens. I've ledged the bucket trowel on the spacer tub many times and it's fell in. And kicked the spacer tub in the air when I tripped and tried to dodgy the tub, spacers went pretty much everywhere inc the adhesive mix, the loo and they wouldn't flush away, and even found some downstairs in the house later in the week so christ knows how they get there.

Knocked a full tub over just as I finnished a job last week. The floor boards were up in this house and the full tub fell right into the cavity. Another anoying thing that happend on the same job was tiles slipping. I tiled the bulkhead just before leaving to go home and the tiles seemed to be solid. Came back the next morning to finnish off and noticed they had slipped so had to pull a few tiles off, clean and refit. Nothing major but another pain in the backside.

Anyone climbed down a stepladder or off a bath and put their foot in the addy bucket - done that twice now.
Worst was a fresh 20kg batch I'd just knocked up - half way up my shin!

Once just after spreading my adhesive on a floor i noticed that the tile i was about to use had a chip along one edge, so i moved it outside to use for cuts, picked up a good one to replace and while walking back kicked over my spacer tub, with the spacers landing straight into the addy......oh was i happy lol

I hate it when my margin trowel falls over in the bucket, and the handle gets coated with thinset.![]()

I don't think you can call your self a tiler if you have'nt kicked a spacer bucket over![]()

Haha done this many times!
So many pet hates here ,and we've all done them.... Now, if I knock over my spacer tub, I just vac them up and then tip them back into the tub - it's a damn sight quicker

its good to know that iam not the only plonker on here...tipped the box many a time, also stood on paint tray and flipped it up.

My worst one was years ago as an apprentice, i knocked a full bucket of unibond over on a thick shag pile carpet, we cleaned up but next day customer asked if we had any problems, coz he said it was like walking on hedgehog the next day, espescially as he was barefoot. Doh
