Young lad gets a job
A while back a young lad came on the forum for advice and later went on to Chase Tiling Academy to do a course. He wrote to many companies for a chance of a job but had no luck. I am pleased to announce that a local company has taken him on and he is now into his 2 week working the sites. Maybe site work isnt all that great but its a start......Well done Liam

he is on here but I think he reads more than he says. i am sure he will have some tales to tell soon enough. he has already seen the pitfalls of large cutters on site so has had to get a Rubi TS30.

Re: Young lad gets a job
Well done to him. i sometimes wish that I could magic up jobs for my learners but they need to realise that it takes time and a lot of effort and persistence to get to wherever they want to be. Some of them expect it to handed to them on a plate.

Re: Young lad gets a job
Nice to hear about a young person who perseveres and gets a result. Very well doen and wish you success. It makes a nice change from all those who don't make the effort and then blame everyone but themselves that they can't get a job.
