    Default tiling a fire surround

Hi we are about to tile a fire surround (around a solid fuel stove ) with an intricate mosaic design.( using fireproof glass tiles )
We want to tile onto board and then screw it to the wall . Does anyone know if hardie backer board/ aqua panel are fireproof or not, or know of anything more suitable to use.
    cheers.

Im pretty sure that cement boards are fine, Id double check with the manufacturer though just incase they recommend any further prep.

This video is on the James Hardie site. If you go to about 4 mins it's quite clear that there is only smoke damage on the hardie product.

I know that Keraquick is meant to be very good at standing heat, I had to check when doing that indoor BBQ.
