Would you recommend tiling ontop of industrial vinyl

Hi, Im going to tile a kitchen floor which has been laid with industrial (like the stuff you see in shops) vinyl. I don't fancy lifting it and it is very well adhered to the floor. Would you recommend that I tile on top of it, if so will it just acrylic bond it and use rapid set ?

i wouldn't tile on top of it myself mate, scraper out of the van and rip it up, and ofc charge for it.

Sorry mate it needs to come up...In time that lino will break down and crumble and that's all the tiles will be stuck to...plus the lino will expand and contract at a different rate to the tiles and could debond the tiles as well...so rip it up and remove as much glue as possible..then put a slurry coat of bal bond sbr and cement mix (adhesive ) apply with a brush ..this will give a good keyed base to tile too.............good luck....
