    Default Slate Floor

    Hi
    I would like to know
1 Is it possible to tile over an existing slate floor with new slate tiles?

2If so would the sealer on the existing floor need to be removed prior to tiling?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Its always better to start again if the slate is fixed to solid floor a braker will lift the slate easier than you think then slc over addy left on floor.

It is best to remove the old tiles and whatever is underneath if needs must.. Always start afresh if possible.
