just got a call of a customer hes got 40 square yards just wonderd what that is converted into square metres,also how much per metre????

how much per sqmeter ive been told 30 pound but im thinking ov going in at 25 cos could get lots of work as he owns a building company/???

£25 is ok to get the job and more work but you will be doing all cuts with a grinder, no wets cuts in slate im afraid.

Although iver managed to wet cut indian b4 but thats the 1st!

Id also make sure your addys are on top if not supplied. Plus sealer etc!

If slates all different thickness you'll need more addy than you think and could end up out of pocket!

Lots of work in slate; grading, checking for flaking, sealing let alone the fitting. £25/m2 are you sure?

divide or multiply by 1.196 but dont forget slate will use more adhesive than tiles Pete

Yep im sure, sure i wouldnt do it for £25m2!!!

However if i was starting out and maybe further work from it then id do it for whatever i could afford too i guess. Not fun for £25 tho!
