Wooden floor with brick in door frame

I'm tiling a kitchen floor over a suspended wooden floor (overboarded).

At the rear of the kitchen is a large doorway and windows to the garden, wooden framed but mounted in the concrete/brick. The brickwork is approx 150mm wide, it and the overboarded floor are at the same height and tiles are to be 600mm x 300mm.

The tiling could start at the edge of the wooden doorframe and overlap the brick onto the boarded floor. Is this ok or would it be a risk of cracking the tiles or grout?

I would start from where brick meets floor and use an expansion joint over the meeting point.
