trim problem!
Hi, My husband is new to tiling and has begun tiling our kitchen walls. However, he has struck a problem because he is using rectangular bevelled tiles, which he has staggered to create a brick wall effect. Where the main wall meets the window recess wall, this has resulted in an uneven join because the cut tiles are thicker than the whole tiles which meet. Is it possible to buy a right-angled aluminium trim that would cover both sides of tiling? He has already tiled so the type of trim that you slot one tile under is unsuitabe. I hope this makes sense to the experts!

Re: trim problem!
Hi and welcome..
So you have bought trim to match the tile thickness on the length /edge of the tile and because the tile is thicker in the middle then the trim isn't deep enough to cover the tile biscuit..??

Re: trim problem!
Sadly I think this is a problem with this design of tile - if I'm reading it right - You can't get around it. Because you have 2 different thickness's in 1 tile you can't get a trim that will sit flush like you can with a normal tile
Are they the 200 x 100
Each mistake is another step to perfection

Re: trim problem!
The alternative is to mitre the external corners.
