Dealing with terracotta
I am doing a self build and my tiler has made a brilliant job of laying 60 m2 of terracotta 20 x 20 floor tiles. They have had 2 coats of linseed before laying and one after. We are now set to apply the beeswax but can't find a suitable floor polisher to finish the job off. Our local hire company says that the tiles will shread the polishing pads on their machine. Any helpful suggestions appreciated.

Re: Dealing with terracotta
Electrolux do a small 2/3 brush 'hoover' type floor polisher and used to be available from John Lewis etc.
Cost approx £200 only.
However if cost is a factor - put Traffic wax on with a fine green scochbrite pad and polish off with a hand held polisher with a lambswool head. That way you will get into the edges as well.
Same for me - your tiler should have undertaken the whole job! Its the wax that gives the terracotta the protection.
Good luck and welcome.
