HELP, what can I do to remove tile adhesive from my tiles, the tiler has used adhesive instead of grout, I have a film of adhesive on the face of my tiles as well as where there should be grout!!!!!
Any help would be most gratefully appreciated.

What type of adhesive did he use...... Tubbed or powder?

Re: Help please
hi there,
you need some warm soapy water and a sponge, plenty of elbow grease, and give the face of the tiles a good scrub. it should come off if you get the adhesive wet and rub at it with the sponge.
as for using it in the grout joints/lines, does it say it is an adhesive and grout in one tub?

Re: Help please
Just damp it and wait for it to melt then wipe off

Re: Help please
I do hope that you're using the term my "tiler" metaphorically. A decent tiler wouldn't use that stuff!

Re: Help please
Get the tiler back and tell him to sort the problem out. Tell him to use a cement based grout once he has removed that rubbish from the joints, too.
Otherwise, a lot of warm water, patience and effort.
