    Default cutting around ped and w/c?

    Hi all,

    Having a few problems cutting around this im not a pro tiler (just thought ide get that in). im using a angle grinder to try get the curves but the tile seems to be snapping half way through cutting im cutting ceramic floor tiles. Any help much appreciated.

    yeah ive got a wet cutter sorry no pics the cuts are going from centre of both going around so one to the left and 1 to the right with the spacer in the middle of those if that makes sense :s thanks

    after you have marked the tile, lightly run your grinder over the mark, then from edges of tile , run grinder through to the mark in lines about 10 mm apart , then you will be able to snap them of then tidy up the edges with grinder or tile snips

    Thanks i will try that i was coming in from one end i did lightly gov over tile with grinder but came in at one end so will try that thanks

    A good blade on your grinder will help, don't use one thats meant for wet cutting only. Or it could be blunt.

    its pritty much a new blade think ive used it on about 4 tiles.

    I tend to score the line with a hand held scribe then cut lines in from the edge like a fan.
