cutting around ped and w/c?
Hi all,
Having a few problems cutting around this im not a pro tiler (just thought ide get that in). im using a angle grinder to try get the curves but the tile seems to be snapping half way through cutting im cutting ceramic floor tiles. Any help much appreciated.

do you have any pics of the cuts you are trying to do

after you have marked the tile, lightly run your grinder over the mark, then from edges of tile , run grinder through to the mark in lines about 10 mm apart , then you will be able to snap them of then tidy up the edges with grinder or tile snips

Thanks i will try that i was coming in from one end i did lightly gov over tile with grinder but came in at one end so will try that thanks

A good blade on your grinder will help, don't use one thats meant for wet cutting only. Or it could be blunt.

its pritty much a new blade think ive used it on about 4 tiles.

can you not remove ped and wc and sit them on the tiles??

I tend to score the line with a hand held scribe then cut lines in from the edge like a fan.
