Default has a customer askes to see your qualifications

Has a customer ever asked what qualifications you have or asked to see them?
As a plumber I have C&G, water regs and part p (for electrics) but no one has asked to see them, For the Water regs I have a Bpec photo ID and always keep it with me just in case

I am talking my neighbours daughter into a kitchen job in the new year. She is fully aware that she will be my first paying customer. Had to sort out her toilet cistern yseterday, as a favour - that's when I offered my tiling services. Walls seem okay - already tiled but have a chisel drill, but the floor is covered in those sticky thermoplastic tiles. I have already warned her that they are a problem to get up - any thoughts on this. At the moment we both like her idea of putting sheet flooring down. If getting the tiles up and dealing with the remaining glue isn't too much of a problem - I would be happy to tackle the floor

cheers

frogeye ( that will do it )- been struggling for a name, was going to use initials but this is quirkier so 'Frogeye Tiling' it is - thank god I don't drive a Trabant

If the vinyl tiles are loose they need to come up...but if they are well and truly stuck then make sure you wash them with a degreaser like sugar soap and then once dry.. prime with neat bal bond sbr and tile within 24hrs of priming......if you are just putting a yinyl sheet type flooring down then self level over them and lay on top of this once dry...
