Put masking tape on before you cut to stop the blade slipping, use a blade that has 32/36 (cant remember exactly which it is) teeth per inch rather than the normal 24 and I always give the edges a rub with an old tile file to take the sharpness away.

Proceed with extreme caution when cutting chrome trim, that's me.
Not good if you slip and cut on short side of where you meant too, oops.

i use my 4 inch grinder with a good metal cutting blade. put the trim on a piece of wood to cut. i then use a stanley knife to clean off the burr. it's easy this way to take a gnats off if required, hard to do that with a hacksaw

I had similar issues a couple of years ago and decided to make a special jig to cut these at all angles from 90 degrees to 0 degrees including 45 and 90 in 1 degree increments.
I'm undecided if it worth marketing it to the Tiling World - Problem is it would need to sell to the trade at about £300 plus delivery of about £30 UK - Would you guys pay this sort of money for a tool that cuts straight and true every time without marking the trim. I use a special file - a ******* fine to smooth off the edges as a tile file is too course in my opinion.
If I had confirmed orders for say 5 off I would start a little campaign and may be offer them to David Neave of Tiletrader.
Let me know what think
PS -- Its an electric chop-saw with very thin blade mounted on jig board and includes an egineering vice with clamps and graduated scale. size is about 500mm x 400mm x 500m h - Its a proper job !!

Use that Quansol mitre box from TT a lot now holds the chrome trims firmly in place when cutting and gives a very good 90 degree.
Also use the Homelux square chrome trims often. The tile sits in the the trim by about 7-8mm so if under cut it allows you to pull out the trim to make contact with the other trim.Another good thing is you don't see the cut edge of the tile as it sits inside. Also if doing a window reveal when you come to put the last piece theres no scratching or bending the trim as you can knock all the 3 trims fully into the tile fit the last one then pull the three back to fit
